“In The Cool Cool Cool of the Evening” is a jazz standard written Hoagy Charmichael and Johnny Mercer, was used in the Paramount film “Here Comes The Groom,” and won the Academy Award in 1951 for best original song. Bing Crosby and Jane Wyman's 1951 recording reached #11 after six weeks on the Billboard charts. Other notable recordings by Frank Sinatra; Harry James; Dean Martin; Bette Midler; Crystal Gayle; Rosemary Clooney; and others. I had never heard any of these versions, but I found the song in one of my many fake books and seeing that it was written by two of my fave songwriters, I had to give it a go!

Here are my latest videos. In these videos you’ll see me performing the different instruments “live to video.” This means that I’m actually playing what you are seeing and hearing, not “syncing.” Most of the music is written by myself, but sometimes I’ll perform a cover.

He lives in New Hampshire, USA, and shares his music with the world by creating videos of his songs and compositions, that show him performing all of the (real) instruments live to camera.
