"One Note Samba"
“One Note Samba” is a bossa nova jazz standard by Antonio Carlos Jobim, with English lyrics by John Hendricks. It was first recorded by Joao Gilberto in 1960. It was featured on the LP “Jazz Samba” by Stan Getz and Charlie Bird which reached number one on the Billboard Top 100 in 1963. Sergio Mendes and Brazil '66 charted with it in 1966. Other notable covers: Eliane Elias; Duke Ellington; Ella Fitzgerald; Dizzy Gillespie; Vince Guaraldi; Al Jarreau; Quincy Jones; Stacey Kent; Herbie Mann; Joe Pass; and Frank Sinatra.

is a jazz pianist/vocalist, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and music educator. He has been making music since the early 1970’s and has 6 albums (and counting) to his name. Peter finds his inspiration in that place where jazz and blues meet, and sometimes anywhere on the roots and branches of jazz and blues. He lives in New Hampshire, USA, and shares his music with the world by creating videos of his songs and compositions, that show him performing all of the (real) instruments live to camera.
