“I've Go My Love To Keep Me Warm” is a jazz and popular standard written by Irving Berlin in 1937 for the film “On The Avenue,” and was sung by stars Dick Powell and Alice Faye. Popular recordings of the tune in 1937 include versions by Billie Holliday and Red Norvo. In 1946, Les Brown had a million seller instrumental version of the song. Though not strictly a holiday song, many artists have included it on their holiday albums, including Bette Midler, Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Rod Stewart and Dinah Washington. My favorite is Ella Fitzgerald's version from her 1958 collection “The Irving Berlin Songbook.”
